Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to submit your manuscript to us. These instructions ensure we have everything necessary for your manuscript to go smoothly through the peer review, production, and publication. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as this will ensure your paper meets the journal's requirements.

 

ARTICLE TYPES

The journal will consider the following article types:

  • Research Article
  • Review Article
  • Research Note

 

WORD LIMITS

The word count limit for your paper is:

  • Research Article should be at most 8,000 words, including tables, references, figure captions, endnotes, and abstract.
  • Review Article for this publication should be 6,000 words, including tables, references, figure captions, endnotes, and abstract.
  • Research Notes for this publication should be at most 2,000 words.
  • Doctoral dissertation
  • Editorial

 

FORMATTING

The author should provide the following paper format:

  • Full name of the author
  • Affiliation (where the author was when the research was conducted - if authors change affiliation before publishing, this should be noted in a footnote)
  • Address
  • Email address
  • ORCiD, optional: See https://orcid.org/ for a unique author identity that ensures all your works are accurately ascribed to you.
  • Corresponding author (who will ensure that the right version is submitted, that all authors consent to publish, and that any adjustments made during peer review and after acceptance are approved).
  • An informative title: make sure it clearly describes what the article is about (no more than 20 words).
  • An abstract of about 200 words: this should summarize the piece rather than introduce the topic.
  • Four to ten keywords
  • The main body of the text includes:
  1. Introduction
  2. Literature review
  3. Method and/or theoretical framework
  4. Results/findings
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusions
  7. Conflict of interest statements and acknowledgments
  8. References

The references or bibliography format should follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition. Using Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero tool reference manager would be best to make writing citations and bibliography easier. The following sample format should be used for references of articles with one, two, or more two authors:
